Not that I’m a expert on blogging (far from it!! my own blog languishes from neglect – like my houseplants…wait! what houseplants??), but I have been trying to push the idea of using the TI blog as a way of moving the often interesting discussions that we have on our listserv to a more public forum. Why do I, for one, think this is a good idea?? Well, I’ve listed it in posts before, but let me summarize my thoughts on the advantages of the blog over the listserv here: (more…)

Computer glitches and upgrades
Thursday, August 23rd, 2007Well, once again, after wondering why the blog has been so quiet, I realized that I had upgraded the site awhile ago, and I had again forgotten to change one little line in the code that allows emails to be sent from the blog – which means that no one new can register, and I don’t get notification of comments to approve – all of which leads to user frustration (not to mention administrator frustration!), and you, the user, won’t come back!
My apologies, and the situation is now fixed (I hope).
Please, if you get error messages, please send an email to webmaster@tikvatisrael.org, so that we can fix the problem, and “keep TI talking!”
