Today’s entry is going to be short and, I believe, very appropriate, as we prepare for Shabbat.

Pam joined me in Nashville last Sunday afternoon, between my morning presentations to the students of the West End Synagogue Sunday school and my evening presentation to the adults at the synagogue. A member of the congregation, whose family has been in Nashville since the mid 1800′s, took us around town, showing us many important sites, including President Andrew Jackson’s country retreat, the Hermitage, on the outside of Nashville.
