Computers have become pervasive in our lives – our car engines are run by computers, computers control our thermostats and many of the apliances in our homes, and more and more of our communication occurs “online”.
At Tikvat Israel, we have progressively been expanding our online presence, and, in addition to our website and this blog, we now have a FaceBook page, and a Twitter account. As of this posting, our FaceBook group has 79 members, and our Twitter account has 11 followers. We have also recently implemented an email service through Constant Contact, which allows more of a “branded” look for our electronic announcements than the more generic emails generated by our listservs.
So, in total, our online presence includes our website, this blog, our new Constant Contact notification service, and our presence on FaceBook and Twitter. We even have a small podcast (really part of the blog).
