Israeli Dance

Every Thursday night, Tikvat Israel's social hall comes alive with good music, good exercise, and good fun, as folk dance instructor and congregant Moshe Shem-Tov leads a group of drop-in participants in Israeli dancing. Dancers young and old, novice and experienced, gather together to enjoy a range of circle dances, line dances, and partner dances.

During the first hour, 8:00-9:00 p.m., instruction is provided. At 9:00 p.m., open dancing begins and Moshe plays popular favorites and takes requests.

Come join hands with your fellow congregants and others from the local community for a lively evening of dance. There's no need to come with a partner because dancers pair up and change partners frequently. Drop-in fee is $7. Please wear rubber-soled shoes and comfortable clothes.
