Chai Class (9th Grade)

Discussion topics include "Being Jewish in America" (How did the different denominations develop? How are they different? What are the pressing issues for American Jewry today?) and "Individual Responsibility and the Community" (What are our responsibilities to the community? Which Jewish organizations provide services? Hhow can Jewish texts and philosophies be applied to current issues?). Students participate in a class mitzvah project. Families participate in a workshop, "Shalom Bayit" about parent-child relationships.

Schedule: Sundays from 10am - 12noon
