GRAND OPENING of The Gallery Space.........posted Aug 25, 2006
GRAND OPENING The Gallery Space, a first of its kind consignment gallery and boutique, will hold its official opening on Sunday, Sept. 17 from noon to 4 p.m. at TI. The Gallery Space will occupy the room off the synagogue's main lobby formerly used by the Sisterhood Judaica Shop. It will feature Judaic and secular art by local Jewish artists from throughout the Washington metropolitan area. All items will be for sale and the profits will support ongoing programs conducted by the Tikvat Israel Women's Network. Angie Hersh, who will direct The Gallery Space, said she hopes to post regular hours of operation by the start of October. Following the grand opening, synagogue members can schedule a private showing by contacting Angie at angiehersh@hotmail.com or 301-593-0273. "We hope to see everyone at the opening!" she said. |
