TI Fetes Active Husband-Wife Tandem.........posted May 1, 2007Two cornerstones of TI's religious life for the past two decades, Terry Horowit and Jim Hendler, will be honored at the synagogue before they begin a new adventure in Albany, N.Y. Congregants can thank the husband-wife tandem for wonderful contributions to our community at 4 p.m. on Monday, May 28. The program will include a recital by Shalshelet, a musical ensemble that will feature music composed by Terry and fellow congregant Wendy Morrison. A light reception will follow. Donations for this event would be appreciated. Please contact Cantor Rochelle Helzner to do so. Terry and Jim are relocating to the Albany area because Jim has begun a new research position at RPI in Troy, N.Y. |
