Larry Levine Photos on Exhibit "L'Dor V'Dor: A Living Tradition".........posted Nov 17, 2007

"Russia to Rockville highlights Larry's children
Aliza and Ari and four generations
of the Levine family." by Larry Marc Levine 2007
Three photographs by Larry Marc Levine were chosen to be part of joint U.S.-Israel photo competition and exhibit "L'Dor V'Dor (Generation to Generation): A Living Tradition". One the photographs selected, Russia to Rockville, is a montage of images of the links between four generations of Larry's family.

The exhibit is on display at the Northern Virginia JCC from Nov. 9 - Dec. 11. Next stop: Beit Shemesh-Yehuda Plains in Israel.

Partnership 2000 is an initiative of the Jewish Agency for Israel, in partnership with the United Jewish Communities/Federations of North America and the countries of Hayesod-United Israel Appeal. "For the Washington Jewish community, Partnership 2000 is in part about forming friendships, relationships and bonds with world Jewry. Through these shared photographs we will be getting to know one another."

Larry and his wife Sandy Levine, Tikvat Israel Education Director, toured Israel for two weeks during the summer of 2006. Photographs from that trip were displayed in the synagogue Gallery and at an Artsites show and sale later that year. Larry included a number of those photos in the digital photography class he conducted as part of the Adult Education program. Some of the images from Israel collection can be viewed at-
