Tikvat Israel is the beneficiary of a Boy Scout's fulfillment of an important requirement on the ladder to becoming an Eagle Scout. The front entrance of the synagogue's school wing is where you'll see the fruits of the scout's project.

Tikvat Israel's softball team would love for congregants to root the team on to its first victory, which could happen any given Sunday morning in the 22-team Montgomery County synagogue conference. Tikvat Israel plays its home doubleheaders at nearby Wood Middle School on Bauer Drive.
