Leading Israeli Author of Kid Books to Visit TI.........posted Jan 3, 2008

A reception to honor Galila Ron-Feder-Amit, author of The Time Tunnel series will take on Mon., March 3 from 6:15-7 p.m. in the Tikvat Israel social hall.

There are 40 books in the series, which takes two children back in time to key events in Jewish and/or Israeli history. Two of the books have been translated from Hebrew to English:

• The Time Tunnel: Jerusalem Under Siege, which takes place in Jerusalem in 1948 during the War of Independence; and
• The Time Tunnel: The Dreyfuss Affair, which takes place during the 1895 Dreyfus Affair in Paris.

"We are thrilled to offer you the opportunity to pre-order these books so that you can have Galila sign your book on March 3," said TI Religious School Director Sandy Levine, in making the announcement.

Complete the order form below and return it to the Religious School office by Jan. 10 to order copies of these books.
