Social Action Committee Raises Support for Linkages to Learning.........posted Sep 4, 2008
Anna Rosales, Site Coordinator/Case Manager for Linkages to Learning at Harmony Hills Elementary School in Aspen Hill, accepts contributions from Tikvat Israel towards its School Supplies Gift Card Drive. Tikvat Israel raised over $500 for this cause, within about three weeks, demonstrating its enthusiastic support for this vital program, which benefits families and children in need. The drive was spearheaded by the congregation's Social Action Committee, which provides assistance to the community through a wide range of service projects. |
