Synagogue's Fresh Produce Program Schedules Summer Classes.........posted Jun 25, 2009

Wonder what to make from all the great fruits and vegetables you get each week in your box of fresh produce from the Community Supported Agriculture program at Tikvat Israel?

Learn some easy recipes and get some hands on experience with caterer and chef Roz Kram at our CSA Cooking Class on June 28 from 1-3 pm in the Tikvat Israel kitchen.

Or consider participating in other summer produce programs slated for TI:

  • July 25 - Congregational Organic Shabbat Luncheon
  • Aug. 18 - Canning/Preserving Class
  • Aug. 21 - Shabbat Potluck Dinner

The June session will feature ingredients you'll find regularly but maybe haven't tried to use any differently.

Event fee: $5 for CSA members,  $7 for non-members.

Reservations required for all summer events: Roz Kram at rozsplace@yahoo.com or 301-929-1542.

Volunteers are needed as well, so let Roz know if you can help.
