Interfaith Panel at TI to Examine Five Religions on Jan. 31.........posted Nov 28, 2009
Tikvat Israel will host a discussion on interfaith beliefs on Sunday, Jan. 31 that will involve religious leaders of five religions.
"God: An Interfaith Conversation" will run from 1:30 to 4 p.m. The program is sponsored by Tikvat Israel with support from the Interfaith Conference of Metropolitan Washington along with other faith communities.

The program will consist of the following elements:
- A panel discusson involving five religious leaders about their personal relationship to the divine and how it affects their daily routines;
- A demonstration of each leader's oral/aural expression of faith via prayer, song, chanting and/or music;
- A celebration of faith through song; and
- A display of religious symbols and artwork.
This program will be open to the public.
The InterFaith Conference was born of the conviction that community can be created from diversity and that in diversity is the unity that can change the world.
Leaders in the Baha'i, Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Jain, Jewish, Latter-day Saint, Protestant, Roman Catholic, Sikh and Zoroastrian faith communities comprise the organization.
