Special Congregational Meeting Set for March 3.........posted Feb 14, 2013

A special congregational meeting will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, in the Tikvat Israel sanctuary.

Congregants in attendance will be able to vote to extend the contract of Rabbi David L. Abramson for an additional year.

The meeting's tentative agenda also will address:

• the synagogue's recast budget;

• rabbi succession plans;

• update for a clergy endowment campaign;

• update on the Broadman-Kaplan Early Childhood Center; and

• collaborative partnerships with other faith-based organizations.

Co-presidents Rod Matheson and Jonathan Solomon will preside.
