Join the JCRC of Greater Washington for their our annual community-wide Yom Ha’Shoah Commemoration. The program will honor the memory of the six million Jews killed during the Holocaust and recognizes the survivors and liberators among us. We are pleased to welcome Elisha Wiesel, the son of Elie Wiesel as our keynote speaker.

In addition to the community-wide commemoration, we will also host our Dor L’Dor Intergenerational Program which allows for teens and their parents to meet with and hear local Holocaust survivors share their living testimonies, and we will continue our participation in the Reading of Victims’ Names: Unto Every Person There Is A Name project coordinated by B’nai B’rith International.
If you are interested in joining a Dor L’Dor with a Holocaust survivor please be in touch with Sara Winkelman.
